THE NATURE

With a wide-range of wildlife from elk to free-roaming bears, the nature in Canada is wild. Get lost and experience the nature up close and personal through a snowmobile trip with local guides. If that sounds a little too close for comfort for you, then why not explore the off-piste with a professional heliski trip? With a season as a ski instructor or snowboard instructor in Canada, the possibilities are endless.

Have you ever heard of the Powder Highway? That is the well-deserved nickname for the legendary snow-blessed 630-mile route from Vancouver through the interior of British Columbia’s Kootenay Rockies. The region offers one of the highest concentration of ski options in the world: downhill, backcountry, cross-country, cat, heli. On average, its boasts 10 meters of snow annually. Therefore, it should be no surprise why Canada is hailed as the home of bottomless champagne powder – a fact which keeps us and all our instructors coming back for more every year.

"When you are surrounded by people who share this kind of passion for something, it has an effect on you. It sounds silly to say but I was inspired."

- Marcus, Snowminds Instructor
