When combined with our Level 1 Snowboard Internship in Canada, you can now quickly go from a beginner to a highly-competent snowboard instructor with advanced certification on your very first winter season abroad. This is your perfect chance to double-down and level-up!

Training during the season

Due to high demand, you can now become a CASI Level 2 snowboard instructor half-way through your very first season in Canada. For maximum convenience, the training program takes place at your ski school destination, where you will receive a technical training course with level 2 preparation and your level 2 exam with the most highly-competent trainers we know and trust.

With the training fit of personalized instruction, you can expect significant individual feedback on your snowboard technique and style. We plan your training days with the snow school so that it is coordinated with your work schedule. This means that by joining this course, you can develop your technique and abilities, while at the same time gain valuable experience working as an instructor. The training course culminates with the 4-day Canadian Level 2 CASI Exam which you will be ready to crush in you sleep! With a new advanced CASI Level 2 certification in hand, our Snowminds team will help you take advantage of many exciting job opportunities for highly-competent snowboard instructors around the world.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The Level 2 training program education is a continuation of our Canada internship season programs. The preparatory training typically starts in January and builds on your Canadian level 1 snowboard  instructor training.

You can also participate if you travel with Snowminds as an experienced instructor on a season in Canada, in which case you will need to have successfully passed a Level 1 Instructor certification from CASI or alternative instructor certification, e.g BASI, APSI, NZSIA.

If you are already signed up for a Level 1 internship, or traveling as an experienced instructor and would like to attend a level 2 course, we recommend contacting us as soon as possible to register. Spots on our level 2 programs fill up fast! 

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

Our level 2 training courses are designed to prepare you for success with the Level 2,  with focused technical training days leading up to the CASI level 2 exam. The price and specific training schedule will vary depending on the resort you are working in. 

Included in all our level 2 programs: 

– Technical training days in preparation for the Level 2 exam
–  Canadian Level 2 snowboard instructor certification (including exam,, course materials and instructor certification)

Since the training is planned around your work schedule at the ski school, the amount of training days and therefore the price for the program varies on location. Please contact us for details on pricing and to add this course to your booking. 

What’s not included? 

• Meals, accommodation, pocket money and anything else not mentioned above*
• Potential costs for converting a non-Canadian level 1 certification over to CASI (if traveling as an experienced instructor) e.g CASI membership 

* The course takes place at the destination where you are working in a snow school, with which you will have a lift pass and accommodation already arranged as part of your travel.  Therefore, any expenses for lift passes, accommodation ect. are not included as in the price.
