Become a ski instructor in Panorama

A well-kept secret

About Panorama

Panorama Ski Resort is located in the Purcell part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, approximately 3.5 hours by car from Calgary. Although it is one of the largest ski resorts in British Columbia, Panorama has remained a well-kept secret. With a large proportion of season guests, great skiing and a wide-variety of activities, as a ski instructor in Panorama you will never get bored! Due to the  large overall size of the ski area, you will also get your space from other riders and can still find untouched snow all-day. Finally, Panorama also offers the highest fall height in all of Canada, and most of the ridge is below the tree line. It’s a recipe for awesomeness.

"Panorama got it's name for good reason. The views from the top are stunning - you're in the heart of the Canadian Rockies surrounded by peaks on all sides. It doesn't get much better than that."

- Jacob, Snowminds instructor

The Ski School

Panorama strives to offer one of the best workplaces in Canada and the mountain has won many awards as one of the best tourism employers in British Columbia. At the ski school, you can expect to work with experienced ski instructors who are there to help you develop as both a skier and teacher. Given the varied terrain offered in Panorama, you will definitely get many opportunities to develop and refine your technique throughout the season as a ski instructor in Panorama – both on and off the piste!

The ski instructor life

Despite Panorama’s calm character, you will never have to worry about getting bored. There are several bars and restaurants where you can settle down after a long day of skiing and snowboarding. Another option is to take a bath in one of the natural hot springs in the area. On your days off, another famous ski resort and national park, Banff, is located only a couple of hours away. We definitely recommend you make the most of your time in the Canadian mountains by exploring the surrounding region and getting in touch with your mountaineering side.
