The Destination

Fiss-Ladis is a huge area that is a wonderful ski resort and where there is something for everyone! The area is linked to Serfaus and you can then hit the slopes for a total of 214 kilometres. That means there will be enough slopes to get you through the winter! In addition, there are also 7 Fun Parks, 10 different freeride routes and a so-called Fun Slope, all of which are connected by 67 lifts.

The area is fun for the little ones because it is one of the most child-friendly areas in Austria. Fiss-Ladis has the largest Kinderland in the entire region, which makes it incredibly easy for a ski instructor to teach children and beginners down there. In addition, the area has a piste specially designed for children. Special areas like these make your whole teaching experience easier, as you as an instructor can have full focus on what matters.

In general, the area has a lot of facilities that there will be plenty of opportunity to explore and try out during the season. Fiss-Ladis has something for young and old. From skiing between the trees, to skiing up into the heights (literally too) – the area has something for everyone!

The Instructor Life

If you’re ready for a winter adventure in one of Tyrol’s most charming destinations, Fiss Ladis is the place for you. Fiss Ladis is located in the heart of Tyrol and during a winter you will experience a great variety of slopes, the possibility of tobogganing, evening skiing and much more. You will work in an international ski school with over 170 ski and snowboard instructors who come from all over Europe to a ski resort perfectly designed for children’s lessons. In your free time you will have the opportunity to stand between the three towns, Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis which offer a fun park, many kilometers of piste, delicious restaurants and cosy mountain huts. When the day comes to an end, many head to the well-known Hexenalm for some classic après-ski. A day in the life of a ski instructor certainly never gets boring. With more than 300 ski and snowboard instructors in the ski school, there’s certainly plenty of opportunity to meet a lot of familiar faces over a beer or two. With so many vertical metres, you’re guaranteed great snow conditions and as an instructor you’re guaranteed some unique and awesome experiences during the winter season!
