Maria Alm is the best of two worlds: A small cosy alpine town tucked away in a challenging ski area.
With 66 kilometers of red and black slopes, Maria Alm’s diverse terrain presents a challenge even for the strongest skiers. The town itself is the epitome of small town Austria. With just over 2000 residents, you will pretty quickly get on a first name basis with the locals in the bars and restaurants.
Skischule Maria Alm is a an ambitious ski school with about 100 employees in the high season. Although it’s not the most famous resort, the quality of ski training is hard to beat. The head instructors ski at the highest levels and offer all instructors two days of voluntary training per week. This is a medium-sized ski school where you will get to know everyone, challenge yourself on a daily basis, and teach primarily local families.
