With 42 kilometers of slopes and a modern lift system, Lofer offers a true local experience. The ski area provides a well-balanced mix of blue, red and black slopes. Whatever run you take, all the downhill slopes end up in the same place in front of the main gondola. This makes the experience of skiing in Lofer clear and easy-going, since your whole group will generally meet at a single point.
To keep things interesting, Lofer also has a fun park to take a break from the piste. If you’re looking for a challenge, there also also three different black runs to choose from: an unprepared forest piste and two steep downhill runs. In addition, Lofer is close to many other areas where we also send Snowmind’s instructors.Maria Alm, Leogang, St. Johan and Kitzbühel are just around the corner. Explore it all as a ski instructor in Lofer!
The traditional town has many characteristic mountain cabins and is built around a church and central city square. Particularly worth experiencing is the city’s Italian cooking and atmosphere. The local butcher, Ras, sells phenomenal leberkas and schnitzelsheim for a very good price. On the mountain, Restaurant Loderbichl serves Tyrolean Fleischkasnock directly from cast iron pans. After enjoying a local meal, it’s also easy to get around on foot and explore hiking routes along the city’s lively stream.
