Apex Mountain is the only mountain in the Okanagan region that faces northeast, making the beautiful new fallen snow less affected by the sun. The fresh powder snow can survive for several days after a snowfall, making the mountain extremely unique. The majority of the terrain is located below the tree line and although it is known for its steep terrain, it has a wide range of terrain, with many slopes for all levels, fun park features and of course the well-known Canadian black diamonds. If your future destination is to be Apex Mountain, your skills will surely reach new heights. Take our destinations test to find out which destination fits you the best!
As a ski instructor in Apex, you quickly get into the Canadian spirit, where you are welcomed by the locals. The snow and the terrain speak for itself and you will not experience whiter, light crystal powder snow elsewhere. Besides your local colleagues on the mountain, there will also be international colleagues from England, Scotland, Wales, Australia, New Zealand. Apex Mountain is known for its friendly, helpful staff who will do their best for you to experience the amazing Canadian culture and enjoy an unforgettable season.

Apex’s location makes the place a “hidden gem” as the rooms call it. The mountain offers a bunch of activities that you can explore during your season. You will be able to try a tube park, hockey rink, ice skating route, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, night skiing and much more! The small village makes the place incredibly charming, with snow-covered cabins and shops.
