BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR IN THE REMARKABLES

A stone's throw from Queenstown

Become an instructor in the Remarkables

The Remarkables certainly live up to the name. The mountain range located just off Queenstown is one of the most photographed in the world and it is easy to understand why. After the Wakatipu lake, the terrain has a heavy slope and ends with impressive mountain peaks. The ski area has 357 vertical meters from the peak of 1943 meters down to 1586 meters. The area has 4 chair lifts and 3 carpets. The fast express 6 person takes you up to a great view and equally good terrain on the way down. The area consists of 3 bowls. Here, the largest is known to be rich with sunshine and is covered so that the wind is not too violent. Therefore, the ski area has fewer closed days compared to the rest of New Zealand. The natural snow is also complemented by modern snow cannons, so you are almost guaranteed fine conditions during much of the season. The area is very family friendly and the terrain is ideal for beginners. However, if you have free or skilled guests, you can still be challenged on the black slopes, off-piste and world-class snow parks.

You have the opportunity to become an instructor in the Remarkables with our 10 week Level 1+2 ski instructor program. You already have your instructor certificate? No worries – we got you! We can help you work and train towards your Level 3.

New Zealand is a popular destination for ski training among professional skiers from the Northern Hemisphere due to its excellent ski facilities in the summer, long ski season, and diverse terrain. The high-quality snow, relatively low altitude of the ski resorts, and natural beauty of the country make it an ideal destination for skiers to improve their skills during the off-season. Many skiers come to New Zealand to have an extended winter and enjoy a range of outdoor activities that the country offers.
