The Snowboard Instructor Life in South Africa

Afriski, a small ski area with big dreams, defies expectations by offering skiing in Africa. Despite its size, it boasts a wide ski run, a children’s area, a certified snow park, an après-ski bar, ski rentals, and vibrant festivals like “Winterfest.” With space for approximately 400 African ski tourists, Afriski provides a rare opportunity to experience snowboarding in Africa. As an instructor, you’ll not only teach snowboarding but often introduce students to snow for the first time. Become a snowboard instructor in South Africa and experience a unique season. Expect a unique and unforgettable experience, as shared by instructor Louise: “It’s not uncommon to be asked how snow forms and where it comes from! Be prepared for something truly special.”

We strongly recommend taking advantage of this, as it has been something our instructors have really enjoyed over the years! The dates are co-ordinated with the ski school manager in Afriski and we are happy to assist with flight booking.
