Welcome to our Development Camp, where your skiing journey takes the next exciting step! Designed for skiers who just started skiing or are looking to return to the slopes after a longer break. Our experienced instructors are here to help you take your skiing to the next level. With a focus on building confidence and getting the hang of parallel skiing, our Development Camp is the ideal opportunity for you to become a comfortable skier.

The camp takes places Austria and happens in November, January or March. You can sign up for 1, 2 or 3 weeks. No matter what length you go for, we guarantee you’ll leave with a big smile on your face and will feel much more confident on the slopes. ATTENTION! After attending our camp and your ski development, you will be qualified to join one of our instructor courses, if this is of interest to you. When booking, we will be happy to advise you on your options.

1 week camps

  • Video analysis to help improve your ski technique
  • 13-days liftpass
  • Welcome and closing dinner
  • Team leader throughout the camp
  • Team building activities
  • Day off in a Wellness

 

3 week camps

  • Training a minimum of 5 days a week with a skilled instructor
  • Accommodation at a hotel with 1/2 board (breakfast and dinner included)
  • A unique community with new friendships

  • Video analysis to help improve your ski technique
  • 20-days liftpass
  • Welcome and closing dinner
  • Team leader throughout the camp
  • Team building activities
  • Day off in a Wellness
  • Excursion to a town or resort nearby

 

What is not included?

  • Cancellation and travel insurance
  • Pocket money and anything else not mentioned above
  • Transportation to and from Austria (we are happy to assist with your travel arrangements, please contact us for further information)
  • Ski and snowboard equipment

 

Please note
*If there are not enough snowboarders to do a snowboard only group, you will be joining a ski group.

*If there are not enough people in each camp category (Beginner, Development, Technical and All-mountain), you might be joining another group.

Course Details

Necessary ski experience?

Our Development camps are for everyone keen to gain confidence as a skier. You should be able to comfortable do snowplow and ski on blue slopes, already beginning to ski parallel. The goal is for you to improve your skills, get confident with parallel skiing and become a more advanced skier. If you are a complete beginner or already more skilled, you can find your match in one of our other ski camps!

Everyday program

A typical day will usually take place as follows: 

7am – 8am – Breakfast at the hotel

9.30 am – Training starts

12 noon – Lunch

1pm – 3pm – Afternoon training

3pm and onwards – Free time or an evening program

 

NB! This is a typical day at a Snowminds camp, but the everyday program may vary and include surprises 😉

Transportation

Transportation to and from Austria is not included in the camps with Snowminds, but we are happy to assist with your travel arrangements. We have partner agreements with top travel agencies and in-depth knowledge regarding transfer to and from the resorts, so please do not hesitate to contact us so we can assist you!

Accommodation

3-star hotel with 1/2 board

 

We take care of our own and during our Skill Development camp it is important to us that you eat and sleep well! We take great pride in assuring high quality all the way through, which is why we have partnered up with the best hotels that cook a delicious, healthy and nourishing breakfast. You will be accommodated into a 3-star hotel with Wi-Fi included and into rooms with 2-5  fellow camp participants.

The breakfast includes a large, nourishing buffet while the dinner is either served as a 3-course meal or a buffet. Basically, no one will ever go to bed hungry!
