Snowminds, being a start-up by nature, has since our beginning in 2012 been head quartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. Our passionate team of 10 people defines our company and we encourage our team members to be ambitious, bold and creative. We love wild ideas and experiments that can move us forward. We believe perfection is unreachable, but yet we are never afraid of failing, learning and adjusting in our effort to reach just that.

As a Trainee in Snowminds you will during a 2 year period be given a fast-paced travel industry education within Snowminds. From day one you will join our team as an equal team member. You will work with customer experiences, event management, marketing, business development, design or anything else that you are passionated about. You will receive a high degree of responsibility from the outset and learn from our talented, experienced and global team. The focal point of the Trainee education will be your development and only you will set the limit for what you will be able to achieve. During the 2 years you will have a mentor within the company that will make sure to guide you and keep your career development on track. and of course you can combine it with a lot of skiing – we almost expect you too!

Our new Trainee should have a passion for skiing and people. You are eager to learn from the best in the industry and to apply your competencies both individually and in teams. You LOVE to help others succeed and are equipped with an entrepreneurial mind-set that flourishes when faced with new challenges. Inevitable, you are an ambitious people-person that is not afraid of working hard to help Snowminds reach the next level.

Examples of what you will do:

• Join our Customer Experience Team and communicate with candidates verbally and in writing to secure them the best possible service
• Conduct ski instructor interviews and guide our candidates to the experience they dream of
• Plan, coordinate and execute events such as Kick off event, team leader weekend, information nights, reunion party, Roskilde Festival or similar
• Support the Head of Marketing with social media management, website, blog posts or digital design
• Help plan new activities such as new destinations or products
• Conduct analysis that will support the Snowminds growth and strategy
• Plan and present presentations at events such as kick off or courses
• Represent Snowminds as a Team Leader on our courses and help the new Snowminds instructors succeed!
• And much more depending on your interests and talent…!

What you have:

• A deep passion for people and skiing, ideally with a background as a Snowminds ski or snowboard instructor
• An interest in entrepreneurship and experience in e.g. customer service, human resources, event planning, marketing, design, video/photo or business development
• Exceptional communication and writing abilities and a sharp eye for customer interactive content creation
• Native Danish or Dutch, with strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Fluency in English and preferable German. Swedish or Norwegian is a plus.
• A burning desire to HELP people become their best and support them all the way
• An ability to work independently and never settle with less than the best of the best
• You are a true team player with a big heart, a strong degree of integrity and high work ethic
