It’s no surprise that snowboarders from around the world dream of riding in the Swiss Alps – and now you have the chance to level up your skills and qualifications in this winter paradise as a Level 2 snowboard instructor in Nendaz, Switzerland.

We’re excited to offer a 4-week Level 2 course in the near-guaranteed epic winter conditions of the Swiss Alps. You’ll be based in Nendaz, right in the heart of the world-renowned 4 Vallées – one of Switzerland’s largest ski resorts, offering some of the best and most diverse snowboard terrain in Europe for developing your technique and teaching at a higher level.

The training program in Nendaz

Starting at the beginning of January, you’ll join our 4-week, fully English-spoken Level 2 snowboard instructor course – a focused and intensive program designed to build on your existing qualifications and take your riding and teaching skills to the next level.

During the course, you’ll receive over 80 hours of on-snow training, a full season 4 Vallées lift pass, shared accommodation for 4 weeks, a pre-course fitness program, mountain safety training, video analysis, and more. A range of social activities organized by our program manager also gives you the chance to connect with others and enjoy the full alpine experience.

The course finishes with a 6-day Level 2 exam, and if successful, you’ll be qualified to teach more advanced snowboarders – a major step forward in your snowboard instructor career.

• Transportation to/from Nendaz, Switzerland
• Cancellation insurance, travel insurance, potential visa fees and tourist tax (approx 4 CHF/day)

* There is a 300 CHF surcharge on the lift ticket for people that are 24 years or older and/ or a 300 CHF surcharge for people signed up later than November 20th.

TRAVEL ITINERARY

Our 4-week Level 2 snowboard instructor course in Nendaz takes place in the near-guaranteed epic winter conditions of the Swiss Alps. It’s designed for instructors who already hold a Level 1 qualification and are ready to progress their teaching and technical skills to the next level. If you’re not an EU passport holder or not eligible to stay in Switzerland for long periods, this course is ideal – it keeps your stay under 90 days while still providing the full Level 2 training experience in Nendaz.

Take a break from studying or working and join our professional training to refine your riding, advance your snowboard instructor certification, and grow in 4 Vallées – one of the most expansive and varied snowboarding areas in the Alps.

We are renowned amongst the ski schools for educating competent, energetic and top motivated instructors.  The most important thing for you is to be positive, outgoing, adventurous, and ready to work hard to get the memory of a lifetime as a part of the Snowminds team.

What we expect from you:

• You hold a Level 1 snowboard instructor qualification that is or can be recognized in Switzerland
• You feel comfortable on red slopes
• You are positive, outgoing, and adventurous
• You speak English at a conversational level
• You are 18 years or above
• You are eligible to enter and stay in Switzerland for the duration of the course

We have a big interest in our courses and the spots fill up quickly. Therefore we have a “first come, first serve” principle with an application deadline each month. This means that the earlier you book your place, the greater your chances are of joining the team and joining us in the snow!
