It’s no surprise that snowboarders from around the world dream of riding in this unique Alpine country – and now you have the chance to make it your winter wonderland as a snowboard instructor in Nendaz, Switzerland!

We’re excited to offer a 4-week Level 1 snowboard instructor course under near-guaranteed epic winter conditions in the Swiss Alps. You’ll live in Nendaz, located right in the heart of the world-renowned 4 Vallées – one of Switzerland’s largest resorts, offering some of the best and most diverse terrain for snowboarders anywhere in the world.

The training program in Nendaz

Starting at the end of November, you’ll join our 4-week, fully English-spoken Level 1 snowboard instructor course – an immersive training experience designed to give you the core skills and certification to start your path in the snowboard industry.

Throughout the course, you’ll benefit from over 80 hours of on-snow training, a full season lift pass for 4 Vallées, shared accommodation for 4 weeks, an outdoor first aid certification, a pre-course fitness program, an introduction to mountain safety, video analysis sessions, and much more. You’ll also take part in a range of social activities organized by our program manager – perfect for building friendships and unforgettable memories on and off the mountain.

The course finishes with a 4-day Level 1 exam, and once you pass, you’ll be officially certified as a Level 1 snowboard instructor – ready to launch your career on snow.

* There is a 300 CHF surcharge on the lift ticket for people that are 24 years or older and/ or a 300 CHF surcharge for people signed up later than November 20th.

TRAVEL ITINERARY

Our 4-week Level 1 snowboard instructor course in Nendaz takes place in the near-guaranteed winter conditions of the Swiss Alps. It’s ideal for those looking to step into the snowboard industry and earn a foundational qualification. If you’re not an EU passport holder or can’t stay in Switzerland long-term, this course is perfect – it keeps your stay under 90 days while still giving you the full snowboard instructor experience in Nendaz.

We are renowned amongst the ski schools for educating competent, energetic and top motivated instructors.  The most important thing for you is to be positive, outgoing, adventurous, and ready to work hard to get the memory of a lifetime as a part of the Snowminds team.

What we expect from you:

• You feel comfortable snowboarding on blue slopes
• You are positive, outgoing, and adventurous
• You speak English at a conversational level
• You are 18 years or above
• You are eligible to enter and stay in Switzerland for the duration of the course

We have a big interest in our courses and the spots fill up quickly. Therefore we have a “first come, first serve” principle with an application deadline each month. This means that the earlier you book your place, the greater your chances are of joining the team and joining us in the snow!
