If you can’t get enough skiing and want to challenge yourself even further, we’ve got the perfect solution: join our Landes Ski Camp in Austria. Snowminds is excited to offer you an intensive training week, where our most trusted and experienced coaches will help you refine your technique, prepare for the Landes 1 training, or simply take your skiing to the next level.

The camp typically takes place in November and April, and is designed for skiers who have already completed their Level 1 certification (Anwärter). The bar is set higher than during the Anwärter training, making this the ideal way to get ready for Landes 1 or to maintain and improve your current level.

Throughout the week, you’ll train in small groups with an experienced coach, work through the key elements of the Landes 1 exam, and use video analysis and varied training methods to sharpen your skills. Whether you’re planning to continue straight into the Landes 1 program or simply want to develop as a skier, this camp offers the perfect preparation.

On top of the intensive training, we’ll also organize fun social activities to create a strong group dynamic. It’s not just about training hard, but also about building unforgettable memories both on and off the slopes with a community of like-minded skiers.

Key Details about the Course

Housing

Training Course Housing

You will live in a hotel with Wifi and all the basic necessities. You can expect to live with 2-5 people per room or apartment. While this may not sound fancy, that’s “mountain luxury” for you.

At Snowminds, “we take care of our own”. That’s why we specifically only work with hotels that make healthy and nutritious food. Breakfast typically consists of a large, nutritious buffet. Dinner will either be a 3-course meal or a buffet with soup, salad, main course and dessert.

Level 2 (Landes 1) Education

The Landes with SBSSV consists of 3 parts, of which this Snowminds course prepares you to the 1st part called “landeslehrer 1”. The course will build on your Anwärter and focus primarily on more performance-based skiing such as hump, powder and short, as well as long swing on the piste.

After the Level 2 (Landes 1) course you have the opportunity to take both the Alpine Course and Landeslehrer. The Alpine Course prepares you for fun, but also dangerous, by driving off-piste. With a passing country’s 2 exam you will be provided with an instructor’s certificate in your hand that allows you to teach practitioners to experts and also take guests in the off-piste.

The education is one of the most recognized in the world. Your certificate of excellence will not only be valuable on your CV, but can also be used for other Snowminds destinations around the world.
