It’s no coincidence that skiers from all over the world have this unique Alpine country on the top of their bucket list and now you have the chance to make this your winter-wonderland as a ski instructor in Nendaz, Switzerland!

We are excited to run a 4 week level 1 course in near-guaranteed epic winter conditions in the Swiss Alps. You will live in Nendaz, which lays right in the heart of the world-renowned 4 Vallées ski resort, one of Switzerland’s biggest ski resorts offering some of the best and most varied terrain in the world.

The training program in Nendaz

Starting at the end of November, you’ll join our 4 week, fully English-spoken Level 1 ski instructor course – an immersive experience designed to give you the essential skills and certification to begin your journey in the ski instructor industry.

Throughout the course, you’ll benefit from over 80 hours of on-snow training, a full season 4 Valleys lift pass, shared accommodation for 4 weeks, an outdoor first aid certification, a pre-course fitness program, mountain safety introduction, video analysis sessions, and much more. You’ll also take part in a range of social activities organized by our program manager – perfect for making connections and building lifelong memories.

The course culminates in a 4-day Level 1 exam, after which – if successful – you’ll officially be a qualified Level 1 ski instructor, ready to kick-start your career on the slopes.

• Cancellation insurance, travel insurance, potential visa fees and tourist tax (approx 4 CHF/day)

* There is a 300 CHF surcharge on the lift ticket for people that are 24 years or older and/ or a 300 CHF surcharge for people signed up later than November 20th.

TRAVEL ITINERARY

Our 4 week Level 1 ski instructor course in Nendaz takes place in the near-guaranteed epic winter conditions of the Swiss Alps. It’s perfectly designed for those looking to get an introduction to the ski instructor industry and gain a basic qualification to work. If you are not an EU passport holder or not eligible to stay in Switzerland for long periods, this is the ideal course for you – keeping your stay under 90 days while still delivering the full ski instructor experience in Nendaz!

We are renowned amongst the ski schools for educating competent, energetic and top motivated instructors.  The most important thing for you is to be positive, outgoing, adventurous, and ready to work hard to get the memory of a lifetime as a part of the Snowminds team.

What we expect from you:

• You feel comfortable skiing on blue slopes
• You are positive, outgoing, and adventurous
• You speak English at a conversational level
• You are 18 years or above
• You are eligible to enter and stay in Switzerland for the duration of the course

We have a big interest in our courses and the spots fill up quickly. Therefore we have a “first come, first serve” principle with an application deadline each month. This means that the earlier you book your place, the greater your chances are of joining the team and joining us in the snow!
