Our ski instructor course in Canada focuses on honing your technique and enhancing your development, preparing you for your instructor certification. After obtaining your Level 1 certification, your Canadian adventure truly begins. You’ll start working as a paid ski instructor at your assigned resort in Canada. Since Snowminds’ inception in 2012, we proudly have a 100% job placement rate for our ski instructors upon successful course completion.
For those wishing to take their skiing to the next level, we provide additional courses throughout the winter season. Level 2 training, backcountry course, or for the adrenaline seekers: our heli-skiing camp in Revelstoke. During the instructor course you will be training during the day and in the evenings you will have plenty of time for other fun activities such as snow shoeing, cross country skiing, tubing or movie nights with your fellow Snowminders. You will get an introduction to the Canadian culture, the way people live, and how they spend their holidays. Canadians are known worldwide as super friendly people and your ski school colleagues will most likely be no different. Canadians have a heart that bleeds for snow, speed and ice hockey. Throughout your season with Snowminds you will have the opportunity to experience a variety of cultural and sport events. Plus, visit nearby resorts, where your fellow Snowminders live and work.
