SKI INSTRUCTOR SUMMER COURSE IN AUSTRIA

Opportunity to get your ski instructor certification in summer!

Summer Skiing Dream in Austria

Summer skiing offers unique contrasts: From the green and blooming valley, the gondola takes you up into the white dream. Enjoy your lunch break in the sunny deck chairs after shredding glacier slopes, return after skiing, and quickly change from your ski uniform into a swimsuit. Sounds pretty good right?

To enjoy the summer skiing experience, we offer a short and affordable ski instructor education with the “bare essentials” you need to know for being a well-educated ski instructor. We will help to make sure you are thoroughly prepared to crush your Level 1 exam and achieve your dream of becoming a paid ski instructor in Austria. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to already have your ski instructor certification in summer before everyone else and being perfectly prepared for a season the next winter. If you are interested, we are more than happy to help you find a job at a skischool that fits best to you.

NOTE! Our instructor course is also offered as a Snowboard Course with the same content and travel days!

Recommendation: If you want more comprehensive training in the winter, check out our 5-week All-Mountain ski instructor course or the ultimate 7-week ski instructor course, where you will become Austrian-certified in both Level 1 and Level 2 over the course of your very first winter season.

"Meeting new people, challenging yourself, new goals, teaching people how to ski and learning how to ski yourself. Man all of you. You should do this. Best thing you'll ever do."

- Max Cords

Course program

Our instructor course begins in July and is designed to prepare you to effectively crush the Austrian “Anwärter” Level 1 ski instructor exam. After having 1 day of training you’ll start your 9 intense days of the Ski Anwärter education. Our highly certified team of coaches will refine your technique in all the core aspects, including carving, short-range training, and rhythm shift on the piste!

Throughout your course and during the preparation process, you will become a part of the Snowminds community, with a focus on educational events, team building activities, and whatever else our local team thinks is needed to shake people together and create the magic.

Recommendation: Check out our 5 Star Facebook reviews and learn more about Snowminds from our ski and snowboard instructors!
