The course is designed for skiers who have already completed the Austrian Anwärter certification and want to build on their existing skills. You will refine your technique, strengthen your understanding of skiing, and prepare more specifically for the key elements you will meet on the Landes pathway. Throughout the training, you will work with experienced coaches and train alongside other motivated instructors with the same ambition.

After the training period, your winter continues in Obergurgl, where you will work as a ski instructor with Skischule Obergurgl. This gives you the chance to build teaching experience, spend more time on snow, and continue progressing as both a skier and an instructor.

In addition to the training, you will become part of a strong community with other instructors. It is not only about training hard, but also about experiencing a winter season full of new friendships, shared experiences, and unforgettable memories both on and off the slopes.

Key Details about the Course

Housing

Ski school accommodation

When you arrive at the ski school in Obergurgl, you will move directly into the accommodation arranged through the ski school, where you will stay for the rest of the season.

Rent is not included in the course package and is paid directly to the ski school.

Landes Education

The Ski Landes education with Tiroler Skilehrerverband is the next step after your Anwärter. This Snowminds course prepares you for the first part of the Landes pathway.

The training builds on your Anwärter and focuses on more performance-based skiing, including moguls, powder, short turns, and long turns on piste.

This is a highly recognized ski instructor education that can strengthen your CV and open doors to future seasons in Austria and other Snowminds destinations.
