The adaptive qualification can also be an important step towards BASI Level 3, which requires experience across two disciplines. The training

The adaptive qualification is divided into three stages, giving you the opportunity to build your knowledge step by step.

You will begin with five days of dedicated adaptive ski training from 1st–5th March, with six hours of training per day. This part of the course focuses on developing your understanding of adaptive skiing, teaching methods and the use of specialist equipment.

From 7th–17th March, you will take part in the BASI Adaptive Level 2 exam course. This gives you the opportunity to put your training into practice and work towards your adaptive qualification.

From 17th March until the end of the season, adaptive shadowing hours are available. This allows you to continue learning in a practical environment and gain further insight into adaptive ski instruction.
