Kimberley is a medium sized ski resort with a fine variation of slopes. Located in the beautiful Purcell Mountains, Kimberley is known to be the sunniest resort in British Columbia. Kimberley’s ski area is not that big compared to other Canadian ski resorts. However, this is exactly the reason why Kimberley is so well-appreciated by families. The clear connection between all the slopes and the fact that the majority of the slopes are intermediate makes it very hard to get lost. The majority of the slopes are accessible by three lifts. These lifts will bring you to mostly green and blue slopes on the front side of the mountain. The back side of the mountain is mainly black terrain. Therefore, Kimberley gives its guests the best combination of easy and challenging slopes. Perfect for all ages.
Kimberleys ski school, TELUS Winter Sports School, is the teaching school in Kimberley and has everything you need. From Daycare to Big Mountain ski training, Telus has it all. Children from 18 months to six years of age can have daycare treatment in which a wide range of activities will be arranged by a certified team. Kids lessons are provided for the age of six to twelve years old and have a maximum class to teacher ratio of 1:7.
Private lessons are possible for children and for whole families. We can, therefore, ensure that The Telus Winter Sports School is in line with our value; safety, learning and having fun. And if skiing is not enough for you, Kimberley resort offers multiple other winter activities such as fat biking, cross country skiing or ice skating.
The small charming village, with a genuine laid back Canadian vibe, at the base of the Kimberley Alpine Resort has been fully designed for skiing purposes. You will have a huge variety in family activities and events, as kids aprés activities and much more!
