Do you dream of becoming a ski- and snowboard instructor in the same season? Yes? Than we have the perfect course special for you!

You start the season with our 3 week ski- and snowboard course. In those 3 weeks, you will complete a training course that focuses on your technique and development both skiing and snowboarding. After the course you will not only work but also train for your Level 1 certification. So the course gives an unique focus on carving, moguls, park and offpiste will surely improve your level beyond imaginable! The improvements you will make will allow you to work even more as a ski- and snowboard instructor. What else do you want?

What’s included

This course is an extension of our 3-week ski- and snowboard course in Canada. So we assume that you are already at your destination in Canada and have your Level 1 diploma in the other discipline before you start the course.

The entire course will be planned in collaboration with the ski school so that the training perfectly matches your daily schedule. We have summarized below what you can expect during the course:

• 7 days of ski or snowboard training
• 3 day Level 1 ski or snowboard training incl. All training material and diplomas
• Accommodation and ski pass during course*
• A complete experience where everything is organized for you
• A nice community with the other Snowminds teachers

What’s not included? 

• Food during the course
• Pocket money and anything else not mentioned above

* The course takes place at your destination where you work as an instructor. So you can just stay at your skischool and use the lift pass from the ski school during the course. The costs for the ski pass and the stay are therefore not included in the price.

WHO CAN APPLY?

The course is a supplement to the 3-week Level 1 ski or snowboard instructor course in Canada and will take place during your season as a ski or snowboard instructor in addition to your job as a teacher. Whether you go skiing or snowboarding, you don’t have to be an expert. The most important thing is that you are positive, motivated, adventurous and ready to have a great time with the Snowminds team. If you are already a ski or snowboard instructor, for example, you already have an Anwärter or NZSIA and you want to do a season in Canada, then you are also very welcome to join us.

There is a lot of interest in our courses and the available places fill up quickly. That is why we use a “first come, first served” arrangement where we work with applying deadlines. So the sooner you sign up, the greater the chance that there is still room in the team and you are assured of a job at your dream destination.
