When you think of true paradise, a destination that is completely off-the-grid and where the sun always shines, there is one place that is almost always mentioned; Hawaii. Tucked away far out in the Pacific Ocean, far away from the world’s problems lies Hawaii – a magical place on earth where East meets West! It is a natural paradise where people from all over the world come to get away, soak up the sun, surf world-class waves, challenge nature, drink Mai Tais and coconut Mojitos, snorkel or dive, swim with sea turtles and so much more. It’s almost too good to be true. But, luckily for you, you have the chance to conquer the islands.

Now we at Snowminds are arranging a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit Hawaii. The first year we had 68 Snowminders on the trip, which helped make it an instant classic. It’s pure mahalo! Program for the Hawaii trip

On Snowminds’ Hawaii end-of-season tour, you get the chance to experience for yourself what “The Aloha state-of-mind” is all about, so get ready for good vibes, Hawaiian-style! The journey starts in Canada or Japan after the ski season, where you and the rest of the Snowminds crew will fly to O’ahu, better known as “The Gathering Place” with its beautiful sandy beaches, cascading waterfalls, adventure experiences, and colorful nightlife.

From the moment you get off the plane, the journey will begin as any journey should; by being lei’d. By that, of course, we mean a warm Hawaiian welcome, after which you and all the other Snowminders will be accommodated in Honolulu at a hotel 300 meters from the world-famous Waikiki Beach, where Duke Kahanomoku made surfing famous. Location is everything, and it goes without saying that it doesn’t get better here!

On the trip, you will be able to enjoy Hawaii by relaxing on the beach, taking surfing lessons, snorkeling, or something else entirely. If it’s less beach and more action, you can also rent a car and explore O’ahu, hike to beautiful waterfalls, snorkel with sea turtles, jump off a cliff into a beautiful lagoon, or even skydive. O’ahu is an island full of experiences and at Snowminds we have created a packed program that will make the trip an unforgettable end to a magical winter.

After a good week of fun and trouble, you and all the other Snowminders will be transported back to the airport where the plane goes back to Canada or Japan, from where you can fly home to lovely Denmark or travel further out into the world.

Hawaii trip details

We arrange all the practicalities so that you can enjoy the trip to the fullest. The dates are also coordinated with your ski school, so you have the opportunity to finish your season and participate in the trip. All you have to do is pack your bag, good vibes, and focus 100% on enjoying the journey with new and old Snowminds friends.

Travel period

• Approx. d. 15.4.2025 – 24.4.2025

The trip includes

• Return flights to and from Vancouver or Tokyo incl. one piece of luggage
• Transfer to/from the airport in Honolulu to Waikiki Beach
• 9 nights at a hotel in Waikiki Beach in 4-bed studios with a kitchenette and in a shared double bed or pullout sofa bed
• Welcome dinner and farewell party
• Activity program with i.a. Team building, beach volleyball tournament, sunrise run, water activities, and much more
• 1-day “Island Tour” on Oahu with lots of experiences
• 2 hours surf lesson
• Possibility to try activities such as sunset sailing, skydiving, snorkeling with turtles, scuba diving, and much more (for a fee)

The trip does NOT include

• Transportation from your destination to Vancouver or Tokyo airport
