With over 170 kilometers of quality pistes and even more history to its name, Kitzbühel is often selected as the the world’s best ski area. It’s often regarded as the birthplace of winter sports and skiing and today plays regular host to World Cup competitions. Kitzbühel offers something for everyone, with a wide variety of challenging pistes for all levels. If you are experienced and particularly brave, you can either try your hand at the famous runway “Streif”, or explore over 60 kilometers of prepared cross-country routes.
At the outskirts of the city lies the old Hotel Kaiser, where all new ski and snowboard instructors will be accommodated in 3-6 person rooms. At the hotel it is possible to buy breakfast and dinner, which will be made by the hotel manager. Otherwise, you can make something for yourself. The opportunities for growth are limitless. You will work at a major ski school, with up to 250 instructors during the high season. Specialty skiing training is offered two days per week, where all classes are taught in German by some of the best educated ski instructors you can find anywhere.
Kitzbühel is a lively city, offering more than just skiing with a renowned nightlife. Since it is a big city, the place attracts many young people who come into town on weekends to light up the dance floor at the Londoner Bar. In addition, the city has a lot of fine shops, like Moncler and Louis Vuitton, charming eateries and cozy bars.
