Become a ski instructor in Nendaz

If there is one place that is recognized for its magical mountains and skiing culture, it would be Switzerland. It’s no coincidence that skiers from all over the world have this unique Alp country on the top of their bucket list and now you have the chance to make this your winter-wonderland on a course in Nendaz!

We are happy to run a 5 week level 2 IASI course in near-guaranteed epic winter conditions in the Swiss Alps. You will live in Nendaz, which lays right in the heart of the world-renowned 4 Vallées ski resort, one of Switzerland’s biggest ski resorts offering some of the best and most varied terrains in the world.

From the beginning of January onwards, you will participate in our 5 weeks, fully English, IASI level 2 ski instructor course, which is designed for all instructors that have already taken a level 1 course in other areas of the world and are looking to further their qualification with an internationally recognized certification before searching for work opportunities as a full-time ski instructor for the following winter. 

As a part of the course, you will receive a 4 Valleys lift pass for 5 weeks, 5 weeks shared accommodation, 145 hours of training, a pre-course fitness program, intro to mountain safety training, video analysis, and much more. In short; with comfort in our highly experienced trainers from Sommet et Neige, we guarantee that this will be your life’s most developing ski experience packed with high fives and fun!

Once you have finished and passed the program, you can call yourself an official Level 2 IASI ski instructor after only 5 weeks.

TRAVEL ITINERARY

Our Nendaz IASI ski level 2 course is the perfect opportunity to convert to an internationally recognized certification with no conversion assessment requirement. This means it’s entirely possible for you to convert your existing ski level 1 from BASI, NZSIA, or CSIA to IASI prior to this course commencing.

If you are not an EU passport holder or eligible to stay in Switzerland for long stays, this is the perfect course for you, keeping your stay under 90 days and still getting the full instructor experience!

Take a break from studying or working and join our professional training to improve your skiing and take it to the next level in 4 Vallées, one of the best and most varied terrains in the Alps. 

Ski Level 2 IASI:

• 10.01. – 15.01.2022: Training including an introduction to IASI philosophy, video analysis, fitness program, ski service workshop and first aid course (if required)
• 17.01. – 22.01.2022: Training, fitness program, Teaching practice sessions, mountain safety, freestyle workshop and ski service workshop
• 24.01. – 29.01.2022: Training including video analysis, ski fitness sessions, ski servicing workshop and CV workshop
• 31.01. – 04.02.2022: Training including video analysis, ski fitness sessions and teaching practice sessions
• 06.02. – 11.02.2022: Level 2 IASI Exam Ski

• Eligible to enter and stay in Switzerland for duration of course

We have a big interest in our courses and the spots fill up quickly. Therefore we have a “first come, first serve” principle with an application deadline each month. This means that the earlier you book your place, the greater your chances are of joining the team and joining us in the snow!
