Become a ski instructor in Niseko

Deep powder, volcanoes, night skiing, and endless tree runs

About Niseko

On Japan’s northern island, Hokkaido, you will find Niseko. The region is comprised of four distinct mountain areas, where new trails and fresh lines are open for the taking. With an average of 15 meters of fresh powder per year, Niseko proves that nothing else matters. One of the many surprises that hides on Hokkaido is a natural wonder: Mount Yotei, an active volcano. Although Yotei has not erupted for more than 5,500 years, the volcano is still alive and kicking below the surface. In the meantime, it stands proudly and shapes the landscape, with a white tip that adorns the surroundings.

Ski school partners in Niseko

Unique about Niseko is that offers multiple different ski schools spread out on the mountain. Due to that, we have the pleasure of working with 4 of the ski schools in Niseko:
Niseko Grand Hirafu
Niseko Village Snow School
Go Snow Gondola Snowsports
Niseko Base Snowsports

The above also means that Niseko Area is the destination in Japan where we send the most Snowminds instructors to.

The Ski Instructor Life

After a full day of instructing, you do not have to worry about the mountain shutting down. Night skiing is offered until 08:30pm nearly every day. Another big advantage of going to Niseko is that it offers after ski possibilities, one of the few areas in Japan that do so in the form that you might know it. Having said that, you may end up singing Spice Girls at a karaoke bar with your ski school if all the sake hits you the right way.
