Only 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver lies Cypress Mountain. With 53 slopes, 600 acres of steep and diverse terrain and 6 meters of annual snowfall, Cypress is a local favorite. In 2010, Cypress also played host to the Freestyle Winter Olympics. In preparation the mountain was quickly transformed with an additional of 40 hectares of new terrain, a new high-speed chairlift, parking upgrades, terrain park and more. Overall, the terrain distribution is very mixed. In other words, there is room for everyone, with plenty of solid opportunities for backcountry and off-piste skiing. Experience this great skiing destination as a ski instructor at Cypress Mountain in Canada!
