11 WEEK SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM IN AUSTRIA

Work and play the winter away on this ultimate season experience

Live the instructor life in Austria

If you ask an experienced instructor what their ideal season would look like, it would without a doubt be a combination of high-level training, teaching, and having a ton of fun together with the other instructors. That is exactly what our 11-week snowboard instructor course in Austria offers.

With this program, Snowminds offers you the opportunity to combine training and working in one season, whilst having the opportunity to take both your Level 1 (Anwärter) and Level 2 (Landes 1) certification during your first winter season. How cool is that? You will enjoy training from our highly experienced coaches, working step by step on improving your own technique and teaching skills. Combine that with the opportunity of a minimum of 5 weeks of shadow and work, and you have what we would call the perfect first winter season!

NOTE! This program is offered as a ski or dual program too! Please get in touch for more information.

The Season Program

You will effectively train and improve from the moment you touch ground in Austria until you leave. You will start out with 3 weeks of intensive training in January that will set you up for success at the Austrian Anwärter (Level 1) exam on ski, snowboard, or both!

After successfully completing your level 1 exams, you will spend 5 weeks at a ski school where you will gather real working experience under the guidance of experienced instructors. It’s the ideal way to put what you have learned during the course into practice. During this teaching and shadow period, you will not only for the first time put what you have learned to use, but you will also gather the necessary experience to continue with the Landes (level 2) training.

After the 5 weeks at the ski school, you will continue the program with an intensive training program to prepare you for the official Austrian Landes course. Whether you participate in this is up to you, but we can guarantee that if you do you’ll take your development to the next level. If you do not take the Landes exam we got you covered with a bed and a season lift ticket for almost 2800 km. of slopes to explore. You are welcome!
