Hakuba is located in the heart of Japan’s “Alps”, where the mountain scenery itself is unique and spectacular. Here you’ll find a combination of world-class skiing and lifts with excellent facilities, just a three-hour drive away from the capital Tokyo. Hakuba was also the focal point of the Winter Olympics years ago, when the disciplines of downhill skiing and ski jumping were held in the area. Our ski school partner in Hakuba, is “Evergreen Ski School”. The ski school has been around for nearly 20 years, and consists of around 130 instructors. Evergreen has had an international brand since 2014, and you will therefore be a part of a strong and helpful international team, making sure you make the most of your season!
Skiing in Japan is truly something special. When you arrive in Hakuba, you will find that the area covers all levels. Hakuba is the setting for no less than 10 different resorts, where there is something for every taste! The area has everything from long pistes, steep pistes, mogul pistes and of course plenty of fresh powder.
Whether you’re into deep powder skiing, local hot springs, karaoke bars or something completely different, Hakuba Village has a bit of everything. The village has a wide selection of Japanese and Western restaurants and bars to cater for just about everyone. Hakuba, by Japanese standards, has some of the best after ski entertainment venues.
