Located in the Purcell Range of the Canadian Rockies, Kimberley offers a laid-back mountain atmosphere for skiing. With over 729 hectares of terrain, 80 pistes and 4 meters of annual snowfall, the resort is a local favorite. The four faces of Kimberley’s mountains are adorned with some of the driest snow, known as “Purcell Powder”. With 38% of the slopes considered black diamond or higher, you can expect a challenge regardless of your skill level and experience. Kimberley also offers the longest night skiing slopes anywhere in Canada. Finally, with 300 days of sunshine a year, a good goggle tan is basically guaranteed. So make sure to layer on the sunscreen. We warned you.
