BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR IN ST. ANTON

Austria’s Freeride Mecca

The Mountains

With over 340 kilometers of prepared slopes and 200 kilometers of ski runs, St. Anton provides you with more than enough possibilities to challenge yourself on both ski and snowboard. St. Anton is also part of the Alberg ski network, which offers you the opportunity to explore the Stuben am Arlberg, St. Christoph, Lech, Zürs, Warth, Schröcken, Sonnenkopf / Klösterle and Pettneu. The Arlberg area’s 2800 meter high peak is easily reached by taking one of the 94 modern lifts. The terrain is varied and often described as a dream for freeriders. After one of the regular powder dumps, the powder hunters storm to St. Anton and even outnumber the number of ordinary skiers. It’s crazy.

The Ski School

The ski school is one of the largest in Austria, with over 400 instructors employed during the season. As an experienced ski instructor here, it can occasionally be a little stressful, but always exciting with a busy and active working environment. Typically, work will be assigned to either the child or adult groups or private education, depending on the skill-level.

The Instructor Life

A season as ski instructor in St. Anton allows you to become a ski instructor where it all began. The world’s first ski school opened in 1903 in St. Anton. The surroundings are equally impressive, with a cozy and charming mountain village whose atmosphere is full of life. There are not many ski areas in Austria, where you get the opportunity for both world-class skiing and après ski. This is one of them.
