In the state of Alberta, you will find Marmot basin, the highest ski resort in the Canadian Rockies. The base of Marmot Basin is located at 1,698 meters, with Marmot Peak at 2612 meters. With 678 hectares of ski terrain and 7 lifts, Marmot Basin is a local gem. On average, the resort receives 400 cm of snow per year, with an extended season from November to May. Marmot Basin is also surrounded by Jasper National Park, which is visited by millions of tourists every year due to the diverse wildlife, including Grizzly bears. Where will you work as an instructor in Marmot Basin?

With approximately 40 other ski and snowboard instructors, the Marmot Basin Ski School is the ideal size for a family-like collegial atmosphere. You will teach visitors of all ages, mainly from the local surrounding areas. Your colleagues will also mostly be from Canada, so you can expect to get an authentic all-around experience in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. You will really get to know and enjoy the Canadian culture!
