Become an instructor in Big White

“It’s the snow.”

The Destination

Big White has a confident motto: “It’s the snow”. The ideal local conditions, with 8 meters of annual snowfall and a -5 degree average temperature, fully-deliver on that promise. That is why Big White is one of British Columbia’s most popular ski areas with a total of 105 km of open ski terrain, the majority of which are red and black slopes. From the top of the mountain, once you become an instructor in Big White, you can end every day with the “Around the World” run and shred 7.2 kms in style all the way down to the base of Gem Lake.

In terms of challenging opportunities, Big White also offers one of the largest areas for night skiing and a wide-range of off-piste possibilities, with deep bowls and challenging forest routes left and right. In addition, Big White offers 25 km (16 miles) of incredible combined Nordic and Wilderness trails perfect for Canadian cross country skiing and snowshoeing, including 14 kilometers of trails groomed daily with state of the art grooming equipment for both skate and classic technique. Finally, the TELUS Park offers skiers and boarders a fun park that is often tuned up to run regional, national, and World Cup events.
